Quentin has been leading teams for over 30 years, delivering results and building winning teams at the CEO level.
Bringing 20 years of service in the Gurkhas and Rifles to Bernafay, Quentin served in over 30 countries, and was awarded an MBE for leadership in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and he was also Mentioned in Despatches for gallantry in Iraq.He completed strategy training at the Joint Services Staff College, and holds both a Masters from King's College London and an MBA from Cranfield University. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership
At Goldman Sachs he was responsible for collateral management and derivative valuations, before he set up Goldman Sachs’ global portfolio reconciliations team across Singapore, Bangalore, London, and New York, bringing a disparate team together with a significant technology roadmap to meet new regulatory demands.
After 5 years at Goldman Sachs, Quentin moved to the eCommerce giant, The Hut Group (THG), where he set up their development arm, THG Academy, and as People Director led on the integration and restructuring of many acquired businesses, from ESPA, Hangar Seven, GlossyBox, Illamasqua, UK2, and many others.
As THG acquired Language Connect in 2018, Quentin was appointed CEO and designed and led the integration and growth programme, unlocking synergies, rebranding it to THG Fluently, and growing the business across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Within four years he doubled EBITDA, and put in place a fully scalable technology and people solution.
Since founding Bernafay Quentin has supported clients in the Fin Tech space with new platform offerings and also worked extensively in Saudi Arabia helping both Family Offices and Logistics companies to scale for growth, develop leaders and create business models that return solid EBITDA growth year on year.
